This adorable family session at the Rackliffe House in Berlin Maryland is so close to my heart. Not only is it my older sister, (if you couldn’t tell!) but it took place the same place Seth and Amanda got tied the knot only a short time berfore. The gorgeous Rackliffe house is nestled in the woods right before the bridge to cross over to Assateague Island. My newphew Teague was all giggles as we strolled around the grounds on this crisp winter day. Being back home in Ocean City, Maryland with my family warms heart and I cherish every time I’m home. When my long time friend Jackie told me about all the details of her little Lumber “Jakes” first birthday I could not wait to see it all come to life! I mean, bubbles, face painting, smores, and a dance party?! That sounds like a good time! This little guy probably had one of the coolest first birthday parties in the books! Every last detail down the the desert table by and catering was lumberjack themed! All the guest wore plaid and there was an open fire to roast marshmallows on the cool California winter day. The party ended with an epic sing along to Journey no less, courtesy of the awesome guys at VOX DJ’s. A blast was had by kids and adults alike. After a few blustery weekends here in sunny socal Linh and I finally found a beautiful sunny day to frolic in the fields of James Dilley Preserve with her beautiful family. I love this time of year! The fall colors and leaves on the ground make for a perfect backdrop for family photos! I had such a blast with the two sweethearts and their grown ups!

There was a bit of the chill in the air last Friday when we headed out to Heisler Park in Laguna Beach for Laura, Travis and Evelyn’s family session.
